Visiting scholars, visiting researchers and visiting exchange professors are considered SUBU guests for a temporary period of up to one year (renewable). As non-employees, they have no teaching or other responsibilities, salary or housing entitlements. Visiting scholars, visiting researchers and visiting exchange professors within the scope of this program may under no circumstances act as an employee at SUBU.

Application Process

  - Application to participate in research activities at SUBU as a Visiting Scholar or Researcher is subject to the condition that a faculty member working at SUBU agrees to conduct joint research with the relevant person.
  - If the SUBU faculty member agrees to joint research, the Visiting Lecturer or Researcher must submit the file containing the requested documents to the relevant Department/Program Head and the Faculty Dean's Office/School or Vocational School Directorate.
  - The units evaluate the candidate's file and forward it to the Rectorate.
  - Visiting Scholar and Researchers start their activities at the University if approved by the Rectorate.

Documents Required from the Candidate

   - Information Form (Click to download),
   - Passport and ID photocopies,
   - Official letter from the institution he/she works for, (It is provided by host department)
   - Diplomas and CV,
   - Name and address information of the institutions he works in his country.
